Global Exhibitions Day 2026: Celebrating the Industry We Love

Every year, Global Exhibitions Day gives us an opportunity to pause and celebrate an industry built on creativity, collaboration, innovation, and people.

While exhibitions and events are often fast-paced, deadline-driven environments, days like these remind us of something important: behind every stand, activation, event, and exhibition is a community of passionate professionals who genuinely enjoy what they do.

This year, the SSQ Design team was proud to join industry colleagues, suppliers, partners, competitors, and students in celebrating the incredible exhibitions and events industry.

One of the things we love most about this industry is the unique relationships within it. While we may compete for projects, share exhibition halls, or work against tight deadlines, an underlying respect and camaraderie brings us together. The people behind the brands, agencies, suppliers, venues, and service providers all contribute to making our industry stronger.

There was laughter, friendly competition, and opportunities to reconnect with familiar faces and meet new ones. It was a reminder that our industry thrives because of collaboration, mutual support, and a shared passion for creating memorable experiences.

We were also privileged to spend time with students and future industry professionals, sharing insights into the exciting world of exhibitions, events, experiential marketing, and design. Seeing their enthusiasm and curiosity for the industry was both refreshing and inspiring.
